No need to apologize for not making videos of late. Make them when you feel the urge. You are an extremely creative, sensitive, and intelligent person. And brave. It takes courage to put yourself in the public eye. Over the years I’ve watched your videos, it amazes me to watch as you create challenge after challenge for yourself. Rehabbing campers, revamping the kitchen, creating a sanctuary in your back garden, photographing the stars, visiting historic sites and picturesque villages, collecting data to analyze and improve your health, changing your wardrobe, that thing where you went all medieval role play and ran around the woods. And that’s just a short list. I get the feeling you’re doubting yourself for exploring so many things and are now feeling as though now you’re floundering. Find no inspiration. Hell’s bells, Rick, your viewers enjoy all of you. We’re right there with you in all the seasons of the mind. You’re a serial builder, serial problem solver, serial puzzle constructor. Once you’ve got something figured or constructed, your mind becomes hungry for the next challenge or adventure. Cut yourself some slack. There’s nothing wrong with letting the ground lay fallow for a bit. Tell your mind - “When you’re ready, let ‘s find a new adventure or project. “ your brain will step and tell you how to do it.

How about a bit of a road trip to help or meet up with Steve & Michelle on part of their route. Maybe a camper van folk meetup with your youtube buddies? Put those campers to real use.

I've said before that your core viewers are invested in following your life rather than specific content, and I stand by that. I've also previously commented that my personal favourite video is from years ago when you were on the Ridgeway, taking in the view on a glorious day, stating that there was no place you'd rather be on a day like that in England's green & pleasant land. You gave us a glimpse in to why you changed course and became a content creator in that video. Your content can be as simple or complex as you wish, but we'll still be here waiting for it. Take your time mate. But remember that sometimes just getting out, even when you really don't feel like it can produce a totally different & more pleasant day than it would have been had you just stayed indoors wondering what to do. I think with so many vlogs doing so much you have reached burn out. Taking a long break will help. You are creative and that will never leave you. Having this period to reflect will do you good and your creative side will come back. The song was super, was that you singing? Have a chilled summer.

Hey Rick, glad to have you back (briefly), as a fellow creative person I’ve found all the AI stuff has kind of knocked my creative will out of me a bit. It’s fun to use but it just feels kind of hollow. I’ve found stepping away from AI has helped me find my spark again, I wonder if it would be the same for you. Suno is a lot of fun though, insane how quickly it can output a full song!

Hello Rick, I am still raw vegan….started when you went carnivore! Really enjoying it. My digestion and energy are so much better. I have been looking at the possibility of me being Autistic with ADD. It is making a huge difference to the way I am feeling about myself and life. It explains why my head and thoughts run away, the anxiety and stress. It explains the moments of intense concentration and obsessions with particular topics that then drop off. It explains the moments when I am so shy and anxious I can’t leave the house, the moments I say things people don’t understand. The fact I think differently and find it hard to make friends. The masking in social situations that take so much energy and days to recover. It explains my digestive issues as this is really common too. It explains the stimming with food, eating for dopamine or crunchy sensations. Overwhelm resulting in uncontrollable crying, like a meltdown! Mentioning this just incase you haven’t looked at it yourself. Maybe it is not something you need or it definitely doesn’t apply to you, but it has really helped me be more openly myself and be happy with that x thank you for being you ❤

(What happened to your FAQ page to keep ppl like me at bay?) Here goes: I think you have too much time on your hands. You need to be somewhere everyday. I'll skip talking about faith because I've figured out you cannot relate to an Evangelical American like me. So I'll say this...I know your Honest Guys vids help folks, but what about putting some of your other talents to helping others? You are very talented and don't have a proper outlet for it all. There are a ton of people who's lives you can brighten with all that creativity and talent. Find them! You will be so fulfilled doing that - you won't need a muse!

Are you still on keto? In your vlogs you said eating fish gave you a 'sparky' brain like it reinvigourated your energy. Might be worth trying it for a week. If your stuck in the house all the time then no wonder you keep getting into a low. As it's summer get yourself out for a drive & natter, flowers are all in bloom now.
